Hydrogen Gas

Biofuel Preparation Biohydrogen is the name given to hydrogen gas, produced by the action of some bacteria, algae and archaea on organic materials. The use of bacteria for the production of hydrogen by fermentation has the advantage that the process does not require light as an energy source. The use of organic waste eliminates competition with crop plants and open up opportunities for waste treatment.
