OBeG technology is based on a biochemical gasification process utilizing the chemical energy stored in waste. Liquid, gaseous and solid hydrogen containing feedstock is converted completely to energy-rich fuel mixture of hydrogen, carbon dioxide and water. The hydrogen can be used as a fuel or fed into a biogas plant for high quality biomethane.
Additional heat and electricity is produced if the system is operated as a microbial fuel cell. The hydrogen gas from the system can be purified and used as fuel for the conventional fuel-cell on the market. It can also be used as fuel for conventional burners and engines on the market today. The OkraH2-Process is a low temperature and pressure hydrogen production process without external energy input.
